Is the ebook service available for customers outside of Singapore?   Yes, anyone in the world can use our epublishing services. Q. How do I prepare my Microsoft Word document for conversion? Please read our formatting guidelines to learn how to format your MSWord document to ensure that texts will flow well in the ePub format.  Q. I have a printed copy of my book, will the layout of the ebook look as good as the print copy? No. ePub is an open-standard file format for digital books. This format allows a book's text to adjust or "reflow" automatically to different screen sizes, including netbooks and e-reader devices. Texts and images are not fixed on a single page but are flowable and hence, the way it look may vary on the size and type of ebook reading devices. Hence, it will not look exactly like the printed version. The rule to have a nice ePub layout after conversion is to keep your book layout as simple as possible. If your book require more complex layouts with multimedia embedded in the book, we can create your book in fixed layout format or digital flipping format that allows you to add videos, flash animations, sound and hyperlinks. Q. What kind of books are suited for the ePub format?   Most books with simple layouts such as novels, children books, non-fiction books are suited for ePub. However, if your book has complex layouts or with high-end design, then the ePub fomat may not be suitable.  Q. Can I add sounds and videos in the ebook?   The answer is yes, it can be done but the costs are higher and this may require a custom quote from us. Q. How does the author get paid?   You receive 100% of Net Receipts (after deducting the sales commission from the online bookstores). It can be paid anytime on request. Each sale is detailed on your private online Dashboard the month following when it is reported, and includes from which bookstores (eg Apple iBookstore, Amazon, etc). You will log into the sales management system of the ebook aggregator which will show your monthly sales, and accumulated earnings. You can withdraw your sales proceeds at any stage through direct bank transfer or via PayPal.You will receive more information on how to access the sales system after you have signed up our services. PAYMENTS and SALES INFORMATION Once your eBook is up for sale at the sites, it will take approximately 45 to 60 days from the end of the month for any sales of your eBook to show up in your ebook aggregator account.
